Basketball Recap: Lane Snags Tenth Victory in Last 12 Games

On Thursday, the Lane Knights were able to grind out a solid win over the Port Richmond Raiders, taking the game 62-54. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 177th in New York, while the Raiders are ranked 473rd in New York), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lane has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. Port Richmond is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-8.

As of now, neither Lane nor Port Richmond have any future games scheduled.
