Franklinton extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Adalyn Smith. Everything went the Red Rams' way against the Sanderson Spartans on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 victory for which the team can thank Smith, who had three digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Franklinton walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-13, 25-20.

When it comes to explaining why Sanderson lost, don't look at Mireya Chavez. Despite the final result, she had 19 digs and two assists. Ainsley Botts also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Franklinton's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Sanderson, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Franklinton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Green Hope on the 3rd. As for Sanderson, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Heritage on the 3rd.
