Softball Recap: Fallbrook Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Helix, Fallbrook was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 6-3 win over the Montgomery Aztecs. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 10-7 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Fallbrook's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Olivia Castillo, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI. Another was Kate Nath, who earned two runs and one stolen base.

Fallbrook was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .462. The last time their batting average was this high was back in February of 2025.

The win got Fallbrook back to even at 1-1. As for Montgomery, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Coming up, Fallbrook is taking a road trip to square off against Sweetwater at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Montgomery, they will square off against Julian at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
