Recap: Grayson Christian vs. Mid-Moore Christian Tornados
If Grayson Christian were feeling good off their 57-24 takedown of Tournament Opponent on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Grayson Christian was beaten by Mid-Moore Christian 72-34 on Friday. While losing is never fun, Grayson Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 1374th in Texas, while Mid-Moore Christian is ranked 90th in Oklahoma).
Despite the loss, Grayson Christian still got an impressive performance from Treyvon Ballard, who scored nine points along with five assists. Another player making a difference was Jasper Rawlins, who scored eight points along with three steals.
T. Gaddis was his usual excellent self, scoring 19 points for Mid-Moore Christian. J. Rivers was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Grayson Christian has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for Mid-Moore Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-1.
