Basketball Recap: Tonkawa Comes Up Short

Tonkawa was the 48-43 winner over Blackwell when they last played one another last Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Tonkawa Buccaneers took a hard 57-39 fall against the Blackwell Maroons on Friday. The Buccaneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tonkawa's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Blackwell, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-6.

Tonkawa didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 44-26 victory against Marietta on the 25th. As for Blackwell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 36-31 loss against Chisholm on the 25th.
