Recap: Kings Christian Crusaders vs. Wonderful College Prep Academy Wolves
The Kings Christian Crusaders came tearing into Tuesday's game with 18 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 34.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past Wonderful College Prep Academy 65-34 at home. Kings Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 matches by 24 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Ronnie Roche, who scored 31 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Kings Christian's points. Elyas Miro was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Kings Christian pushed their record up to 19-1 with that victory, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.2 points per game. As for Wonderful College Prep Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kings Christian will take on Caruthers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wonderful College Prep Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Orosi at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
