Rocklin waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Whitney Wildcats, sneaking past 8-6. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 2-1 victory two weeks ago.

Rocklin got a great performance from Blake Andre as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over 4.2 innings pitched. Andre has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Colby Pudge, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Nick Coleman was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three RBI.

Rocklin's win bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Whitney, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.
