Basketball Game Preview: Brookstone Cougars vs. Lee-Scott Academy Warriors + How To Watch

Two dominant guards in Julie Anne Pyle and Clarke Ivatt are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Brookstone Cougars will head out on the road to square off against the Lee-Scott Academy Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Brookstone is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Spencer just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. The matchup between the Cougars and the Greenwave didn't end well, with the Cougars falling 54-38.

The losing side was boosted by Taylor Zwickey, who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Caroline Peak, who scored seven points.

Lee-Scott Academy not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since November 13th (when they won 58-32). Everything went their way against Beulah as they made off with a 45-22 win. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Bobcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Lee-Scott Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Brookstone, the loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 4-4.

Brookstone took their victory against Lee-Scott Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 by a conclusive 55-33 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
