Volleyball Recap: Rocklin Beats Jesuit for Their Fifth Straight Win

Rocklin waltzed into their match on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Jesuit Marauders. This was a revenge game for the Thunder: when they faced off against the Marauders on March 3rd, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as three sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-27, 27-25, 25-23.

Christian Loschiavo paced Rocklin's offense, picking up 13 kills. Loschiavo got some help from Eli Anderson and his 23 assists. Donovan Kuwazaki and Bryan Lie kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 9-11. As for Jesuit, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season.

Rocklin will challenge Del Oro at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Jesuit has already played their next game (against Christian Brothers), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
