Volleyball Recap: Northeastern Starts Season with Loss at Home

Northeastern unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Camden County Bruins on Wednesday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-11, 25-14.

Hyla Mullen was the offensive standout of the game as she had eight digs and two aces.

Coming up, Northeastern will challenge Albemarle School at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Camden County, they will square off against Cape Hatteras at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
