Baseball Recap: Hannibal Pirates vs. Marshall Owls
Hannibal had won three straight at home, but on Friday they bumped their record up to 10-11 to make it four. They skirted past the Marshall Owls 5-4. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Owls recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.
Cooper Scott spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four runs (all of which were unearned) on nine hits. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Hannibal is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 7-11 otherwise.
