Basketball Recap: Round Lake Comes Up Short

Round Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. 2025 welcomed they with a 55-33 loss courtesy of the Dundee-Crown Chargers. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 62-35 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Round Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Dundee-Crown, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season.

Round Lake will venture away from home to take on Grayslake North at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Dundee-Crown, they will welcome McHenry at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Dundee-Crown will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
