Basketball Recap: Hopatcong Comes Up Short

Hopatcong was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 32-22 to the North Warren Regional Patriots. If the Chiefs were looking for revenge after losing 41-17 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Hopatcong's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for North Warren Regional, the win snapped their losing streak at nine games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-3 record.

Hopatcong will face off against Whippany Park at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopatcong is facing Whippany Park at the right time seeing as Whippany Park is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for North Warren Regional, they will head out to take on Parsippany at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
