Lyons has gone 9-1 against Hinsdale Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Lions will head out on the road to take on the Red Devils at 4:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Monday, Lyons came up short against Downers Grove North and fell 5-1. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost five in a row.

Caylee Wagner spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on eight hits.

On the hitting side, Isabella Evans made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run.

Meanwhile, Hinsdale Central lost 14-4 to Oak Park-River Forest on Monday. The loss was the Red Devils' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Hinsdale Central fell to 6-1. As for Lyons, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

Everything went Lyons' way against Hinsdale Central in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Lyons made off with a 15-8 victory. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Red Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
