Volleyball Recap: Windsor Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Nathan Le and Tucker Sanders

Windsor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Conard Red Wolves. The Warriors were not able to make up for their loss to the Red Wolves from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Windsor started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-10, 25-22, 25-13.

Windsor's loss came despite strong showings from Tucker Sanders and Nathan Le. Sanders had 15 digs and three aces, while Le had 14 kills and 12 digs. Le is on a roll when it comes to kills, as he's now had six or more in each of the last seven games he's played. Ryan McDonald also deserves some recognition as he had his first dig of the season.

Windsor's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Conard, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 14-0.

Windsor didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against South Windsor on the 19th. As for Conard, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Enfield on the 19th.
