Baseball Recap: Lancaster Takes a Loss

Lancaster was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the York Cougars. The Bruins were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Lancaster saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Parker McGee, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Lancaster's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for York, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-9.

While Lancaster had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
