Basketball Game Preview: Agricultural Science Cyclones vs. Thornton Wildcats

The Agricultural Science Cyclones will head out to face off against the Thornton Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Agricultural Science will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Last Thursday, Agricultural Science escaped with a win against Julian by the margin of a single free throw, 27-26.

Meanwhile, Thornton ended up a good deal behind Bloom on Thursday and lost 70-55. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Blazing Trojan recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Agricultural Science pushed their record up to 10-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.0 points over those games. As for Thornton, their loss dropped their record down to 10-13.

Agricultural Science was taken down by Thornton 62-23 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Can Agricultural Science avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
