Basketball Recap: Arts Takes a Loss

Arts lost against Seton Hall Prep two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Arts Jaguars were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 55-54 to the Seton Hall Prep Pirates. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Anthony Gonzalez was his usual excellent self, putting up 31 points and five assists for Seton Hall Prep. Those 31 points gave Gonzalez a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Guzzardo, who posted seven points and four steals.

Arts' defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Seton Hall Prep, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arts will take on St. Thomas Aquinas at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Seton Hall Prep, they will face off against Payne Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
