Bagdad's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Maryvale Prep Matador by a score of 3-1. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Sultans as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

The win got Bagdad back to even at 5-5. As for Maryvale Prep, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bagdad will face off against Anthem Prep at 5:30 p.m. on October 2. As for Maryvale Prep, they will venture away from home to square off against Arete Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
