Soccer Game Preview: Indian Springs vs. Northside

The Indian Springs Student will square off against the Northside Rams at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Indian Springs is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Helena just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Tuesday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result kept Indian Springs happy, as they haven't lost a game since February 18th.

Meanwhile, Northside didn't have quite enough to beat Montevallo on Tuesday and fell 2-1. The defeat continues a trend for Northside in their meetings with Montevallo: they've now lost six in a row.

Northside's loss dropped their record down to 9-3-2. With that draw, Indian Springs' record moves to 13-2-3.

Indian Springs beat Northside 3-1 in their previous matchup back in March. Will the Student repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
