Softball Recap: Marble Falls Has No Trouble Against Elgin

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Jarrell, Marble Falls was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Elgin Wildcats as Marble Falls made off with an 11-3 victory. Considering the Mustangs have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win got Marble Falls back to even at 10-10. As for Elgin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marble Falls will take on Taylor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Marble Falls is facing Taylor at the right time seeing as Taylor is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Elgin, they will face off against Hendrickson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Elgin's pitchers better be ready for this one: Hendrickson has averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season.
