After a string of four wins, Westampton Tech's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. The contest between them and the Holy Cross Lancers didn't end well, with the Westampton Tech Panthers falling 62-48. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 44-31 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Defeat or not, Westampton Tech got some senior leadership from Jacob McCollum and Daelan Dickerson. McCollum went 5 for 11 en route to 11 points and eight rebounds, while Dickerson posted ten points. Jason Livingstone was another key player, putting up eight points.

Even though they lost, Westampton Tech smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in six consecutive matchups.

Holy Cross got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Uche Onunkwo out in front who went 6 of 9 on his way to 13 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Joey Martino, who had 13 points along with six boards and five assists.

Westampton Tech's loss dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Holy Cross, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-4.

When Westampton Tech and Holy Cross next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Westampton Tech will take on Overbrook and their five-game winning streak at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Westampton Tech is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.4 points per game this season. Similarly, Holy Cross will try to stop Atlantic City's five-game winning streak when the meet at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
