Volleyball Recap: Greeley Central Takes a Loss

Greeley Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Colorado Springs Christian Lions.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Greeley Central sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 20-25, 15-11.

Greeley Central's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Colorado Springs Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Greeley Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Overland on the 19th. As for Colorado Springs Christian, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Boulder on the 19th.
