Baseball Recap: Archbishop Carroll Takes a Loss

Archbishop Carroll was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Gonzaga Eagles, falling 24-0. The Lions were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Nate Green was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases. Mikai Williams also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Archbishop Carroll's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Gonzaga, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-5.

Looking ahead, Archbishop Carroll will square off against Bishop Ireton at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gonzaga, they will face off against Abingdon at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
