Volleyball Recap: Vasquez Triumphs

Vasquez won the last time they faced Desert and things went their way on Thursday too. The Mustangs came out on top against the Scorpions by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

The victory didn't come easy: Desert scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-23, 20-25, 25-18.

Vasquez's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Desert, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 3-6.

Coming up, Vasquez will be playing at home against Desert Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Desert, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Rosamond at 4:31 p.m. on the 24th.
