Soccer Game Preview: Model vs. Trion

The Model Blue Devils will face off against the Trion Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Model will be strutting in after a victory while Trion will be coming in after a loss.

Model's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Pepperell. The victory continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Dragons: they've now won seven in a row.

Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Trion's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell 2-0 to Coahulla Creek. Having soared to a lofty six goals in the game before, the Bulldogs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Model's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Trion, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-2.

Model might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Trion in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Can Model avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
