Softball Game Preview: Cisco Loboes vs. Southwest Christian School Eagles

The Cisco Loboes will head out to challenge the Southwest Christian School Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cisco will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Last Tuesday, Cisco was able to grind out a solid victory over Bangs, taking the game 10-6.

Meanwhile, Southwest Christian School got themselves on the board against Trinity Valley two weeks ago, but Trinity Valley never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 12-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won eight contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Southwest Christian School got a massive performance out of Macarley Surina, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. The dominant performance gave Surina a new career-high in runs. Another player making a difference was Addison Davidson, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Southwest Christian School hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most five strikeouts in six consecutive matches.

Southwest Christian School is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2-1 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 12.7 runs. Cisco pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.
