Softball Recap: Terry Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Terry's offense. They came up short against the Pearl River Central Blue Devils on Monday, falling 14-0. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Bulldogs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Terry saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amaya Cooper, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Terry has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season. As for Pearl River Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6-1 record this season.

Terry will square off against St. Andrew's Episcopal at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pearl River Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
