Soccer Game Preview: Bellingham vs. Burlington-Edison

The Bellingham Bayhawks will challenge the Burlington-Edison Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bellingham's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

While Bellingham's victory against Mt. Baker wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bayhawks never let the Mountaineers get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for Bellingham in their matchups with Mt. Baker: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Burlington-Edison was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sedro-Woolley.

Bellingham's win bumped their record up to 8-4-1. As for Burlington-Edison, they now have a losing record of 5-6-2.
