It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Lake Country Lutheran had no problem doing just that on Friday. They claimed a resounding 42-6 win over the Kiel Raiders. The result was nothing new for the Lightning, who have now won six matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.

Lake Country Lutheran's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.2 points on average over those games. As for Kiel, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Coming up, Lake Country Lutheran will square off against Wittenberg-Birnamwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Kiel does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
