Cutter-Morning Star made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Murfreesboro, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Eagles blew past the Rattlers 18-5 on Monday. Considering the Eagles have won ten matchups by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the sixth in a row for Cutter-Morning Star, bringing their record up to 12-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Murfreesboro, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.

Looking ahead, Cutter-Morning Star will take on Abundant Life at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Murfreesboro, they will square off against Mount Ida at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.73 runs per game on average), something the Rattlers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
