Volleyball Recap: Forest Lake Christian Falcons vs. Balboa Buccaneers
Forest Lake Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Balboa Buccaneers. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Buccaneers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2018.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-17.
Forest Lake Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Balboa, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
Forest Lake Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Victory Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Balboa, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat vs. River Valley on the 21st.
