Volleyball Recap: Western Harnett Comes Up Short at Home Against Pinecrest

Western Harnett unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Pinecrest Patriots on Wednesday. The Eagles have struggled against the Patriots recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

While Western Harnett ultimately came up short, they really made Pinecrest work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-19, 25-14.

Coming up, Western Harnett will welcome North Moore at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Pinecrest, they will head out on the road to challenge Chapel Hill at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
