Volleyball Recap: Newcastle Dogies vs. Buffalo Bison
After flying high against Glenrock on Friday, Newcastle came back down to earth. The Newcastle Dogies lost 3-0 to the Buffalo Bison on Saturday. The Dogies have struggled against the Bison recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
While Newcastle had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-21, 25-20.
Adalyn Olson paced Newcastle's offense, picking up nine kills. Olson got some help from
Kyndal Von Eye and her 15 assists.
Newcastle's loss dropped their record down to 7-22. As for Buffalo, they now have a winning record of 15-14.
As of now, neither Newcastle nor Buffalo have any future games scheduled.
