Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marshall). They never let Gabrielino get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory on Friday. Marshall hasn't had any issues with Gabrielino recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.
Caleb Thatcher made a splash no matter where he played. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 3-for-3.
