St. Joseph waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Mainland Regional Mustangs get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.
Madisyn Powell looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched.
On the hitting side, Riley Hunter was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI, two doubles, and one run. Another player making a difference was Abby Willis, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double.
St. Joseph was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .480. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .323 or higher in three consecutive games.
St. Joseph's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2.
