Basketball Recap: Nixyaawii Community Drops Highest Score of Season Against Pilot Rock

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Nixyaawii Community). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Pilot Rock Rockets 96-42. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Nixyaawii Community's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Pilot Rock, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-3.

Nixyaawii Community will venture away from home to take on Griswold at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Nixyaawii Community knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Griswold likes a good challenge. Pilot Rock has already played their next game (against Cove), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
