Basketball Recap: Glen Burnie Comes Up Short at Home Against Winters Mill

Glen Burnie unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 55-50 to the Winters Mill Falcons on Saturday. The Gophers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glen Burnie will square off against Long Reach at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Winters Mill, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Marriotts Ridge at 4:30 p.m. on December 2.
