Baseball Recap: Northwood-Kensett's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

After low-scoring totals in their previous three game, Northwood-Kensett brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They had just enough and edged out the Garner-Hayfield/Ventura Cardinals 11-10 on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Vikings as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Northwood-Kensett's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Garner-Hayfield/Ventura, they moved to 6-3 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northwood-Kensett will challenge Osage at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Garner-Hayfield/Ventura, they will face off against Clear Lake at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
