Basketball Recap: Trinity Lutheran's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Trinity Lutheran extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from MARLEY WARREN. The Cougars claimed a resounding 61-31 victory over the Columbus East Olympians for which the team can thank WARREN, who shot 47% from the field to rack up 26 points along with six assists and six boards. Her big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 18 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of RACHEL BONDE, who posted nine points and eight rebounds. She is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 50% in the last seven games she's played dating back to last season.

Trinity Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Columbus East, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Trinity Lutheran didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 54-41 victory against Providence on the 4th. As for Columbus East, they will face off against Floyd Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
