Baseball Game Preview: North Side Steers vs. Polytechnic Parrots

For the second straight game, North Side will face off against Polytechnic. The Steers will head out to take on the Parrots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

North Side's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Polytechnic by a score of 11-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The win continues a trend for the Steers in their matchups with the Parrots: they've now won four in a row.

For Polytechnic's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adan Cerda, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Polytechnic has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season. As for North Side, their victory bumped their record up to 14-16.
