Basketball Recap: Lincoln Has No Trouble Against Bullard

Lincoln's tournament run continued when they took on Bullard on Friday. The Trojans blew past the Knights 81-55. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Jagger Merolla was nothing short of spectacular: he went 11-for-21 to rack up 24 points along with six rebounds and five assists. What's more, he posted three steals, the most he's had since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Tre Simmons, who shot 64% from the field on his way to 17 points in addition to five boards and three steals.

Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Bullard, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Lincoln has already played their next matchup, a 58-52 defeat against Clovis North on the 6th. As for Bullard, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 75-71 win against Santa Barbara on the 6th.
