Softball Recap: Cheatham County Central Cubs vs. East Hickman County Eagles        
        
		
            
 In what's become a running theme this season, Cheatham County Central gave their fans yet another huge  win on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by  a  10-4 margin over the East Hickman County Eagles. The  victory was nothing new for Cheatham County Central as they're now sitting on four straight.
  Haylee Dowlen spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned  (and one unearned) runs on five hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in five consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Macie Harter was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more  hits the last four times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Sydney Crouch, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 On East Hickman County's side, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Yesenia Ann Arellano-ornelas, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
 Cheatham County Central is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven matches,  which provided a massive bump to their 8-5 record  this season. As for East Hickman County, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 6-11.
 Cheatham County Central will head out on the road to  face off against  Sycamore at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Cheatham County Central knows how to get  runs on the board -- the  team has finished with flashy  run totals in its past four contests -- so hopefully Sycamore likes a good challenge. As for East Hickman County, they will be playing at home against Culleoka at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday.
