Soccer Game Preview: Apache Junction vs. Globe

The Apache Junction Prospectors will head out to square off against the Globe Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Globe took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Apache Junction, who comes in off a win.

Apache Junction barely beat San Tan Foothills the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Prospectors blew past the Sabercats 6-1 on Thursday. Apache Junction haven't had any issues with San Tan Foothills recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Apache Junction hit San Tan Foothills with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Bella Blackstock (4), Giuliana Angulo, and Maddie Dennison.

Meanwhile, Globe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of ALA - Mesa North.

Apache Junction's win bumped their record up to 4-9-2. As for Globe, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
