Volleyball Recap: Arbor View Aggies vs. Bishop Gorman Gaels
Arbor View and Bishop Gorman squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Arbor View had to settle for second. They came up short against the Bishop Gorman Gaels, falling 3-0. The Aggies haven't had much luck with the Gaels recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
The final score came out to 25-14, 25-10, 25-20.
Bishop Gorman can attribute much of their success to Chloe Lopez, who had nine digs and three aces. That's the most aces Lopez has posted since back in September.
Arbor View's defeat dropped their record down to 28-11. As for Bishop Gorman, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 26-8.
Arbor View does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bishop Gorman, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Coronado at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Coronado will roll in looking for their 19th straight win, something Bishop Gorman surely won't give up without a fight.
