Football Recap: Xavier Starts Season with Win Against Indian Hills

Xavier took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Indian Hills Braves 27-0. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 90th in New York, while the Braves are ranked 317th in New Jersey) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Looking ahead, Xavier will take on Kellenberg Memorial at 7:30 p.m. on September 6. As for Indian Hills, they will challenge Tenafly at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Braves their first taste of in-conference action this season.
