Baseball Recap: San Simon Takes a Loss

San Simon's tournament run continued when they took on Tombstone on Friday. The Longhorns lost 15-1 to the Yellow Jackets. The game marked the Longhorns' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

San Simon saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joel Martinez, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

San Simon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Tombstone, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-6.

San Simon wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 11-5 loss against Valley Union on the 14th. As for Tombstone, they have also already played their next game, a 4-1 win against Ray on the 13th.
