Volleyball Recap: Randolph Takes a Loss

Randolph lost against Beaver Dam back in October of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rockets fell 2-0 to the Golden Beavers. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Randolph was not able to win a set, they sure kept things interesting: every set was decided by exactly two points. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 26-24.

Madelynn Medema paced Randolph's offense, picking up five kills. Medema got some help from Tessa Reed and her 12 assists. Reed was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Randolph's defeat dropped their record down to 16-21. As for Beaver Dam, their victory ended a five-match drought on the road and puts them at 18-20.

Coming up, Randolph will host Parkview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Beaver Dam, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against DeForest on the 18th.
