Soccer Recap: Amundsen Snags Fourth Win in Last Five Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Crystal Lake Central, Amundsen was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 4-2 victory over the De La Salle Meteors. Amundsen better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Raisa Yuille, as she scored every single goal for her team.

Amundsen has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those five contests. As for De La Salle, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5-1.

Amundsen wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 2-2 draw against Whitney Young on the 16th. As for De La Salle, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-2 defeat against Loyola Academy on the 15th.
