If North Johnston wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Smithfield-Selma, they should've done a better job of containing Jabias Bradshaw. The Spartans secured a 43-37 W over the Panthers on Tuesday thanks in part to Bradshaw, who made all 5 shots he took for 15 points. He has also also been stellar as far as field goal percentage is concerned: he's posted one of at least 45% every time he's hit the court this season.

When it comes to explaining why North Johnston lost, don't look at Aamari Dunston. Despite the final result, he went 7-for-10 en route to 20 points. Another player making a difference was Kaleb Pone, who posted ten points and seven rebounds.

The victory made it two in a row for Smithfield-Selma and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for North Johnston, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
